Nikki consistently embodies the mission of our organization while going above and beyond to ensure Residents and staff receive excellent service and the entire Nutrition Services program runs smoothly, 24/7.
She puts tremendous thought into menu planning, meal preparation, and Resident preferences, always looking for ways to improve the dining experience. Her “featured dishes” program recreates Residents’ favorite meals from memory, exercising creativity, patience, and commitment to person-centered care. Residents feel heard, respected, and empowered because their preferences genuinely shape the meals they receive. For many, especially those with histories of food insecurity, the kitchen provides consistency, comfort, and security.
Nikki leads by example, never asking her team to do work she would not do herself. Her supportive leadership has built a highly engaged team with exceptional retention and outstanding state survey results on kitchen compliance. She collaborates well across departments, including being the Emcee of the 2026 Family Reunion Fundraiser! She leads with humility, compassion, and excellence, making a lasting difference for Residents, colleagues, and the organization every day.
