Gabriel Kahane’s emergency shelter intake form is a 50-minute commissioned piece examining deep poverty in America through the lens of homelessness and housing insecurity. Maybelle Community Singers and the Oregon Symphony originally collaborated on the project in May 2018, culminating in a series of three concerts at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.
