This is a weekly spiritual and social support group. It is an inclusive space where women can gather to share stories and each other’s company in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Walk ‘n Roll
Maybelle CenterMeet us outside the Maybelle Center for a nice walk to have lunch in the park! Walk 'n Roll happens from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on the first Thursday of every month.
Rainbow Group
Maybelle CenterJune is Pride Month, and we’re celebrating with a new Rainbow Group at Maybelle Center! This group will be open to all members and staff who identify as part of the LGBTQIA2s+/Queer Community. We will create a safer space for participants to be supportive of one another as LGBTQIA2s+/Queer community members, explore the larger LGBTQIA2s+ Community, assist in planning Maybelle’s participation in the Pride NW Parade, and find ways to celebrate Queer JOY together! The group will determine the details of how we meet these goals. Rainbow Group Meetings will be held in South Conference Room B (across from the Classroom). Theatre Class
Maybelle CenterJoin our community theatre class to learn the basics of acting and theatre. It's a great way to build self-confidence and strong sense of community. No experience needed. For more information, contact Jennifer at 971-202-7466.
Community Choir
Maybelle CenterHave fun and meet new friends while practicing your singing skills! No experience necessary-- anyone and everyone can sing. We perform several times a year, but performances are always optional. We meet every Monday in the classroom from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Can't make it in person? Oregon Symphony Mini Concert
Maybelle CenterBassist Xavier Foley, one of Oregon Symphony’s Artists in Residence with be performing a mini-concert and talk back for our members, staff, and volunteers. Join us in our South Side rooms enjoy an afternoon of amazing music and conversation. No afternoon Community Room on June 5th.
Earth Tones Music Therapy
Maybelle CenterThis workshop will be a relaxing and fun exploration of our musical abilities including listening to, composing, and creating our own music. No musical experience is necessary.
Theatre Tech
Maybelle CenterAre you an artist? Do you love the theater but don't want to be an actor? Join us Wednesdays on 3:00pm in the Community Room for Tech Theatre! Build sets, make props, help with costumes, and work backstage during our performances!
